Marriott approached us to create its largest campaign ever for the global launch of their new rewards program, Marriott Bonvoy. “Rewards Reimagined” combined more than 30 hotel loyalty programs, reached 22 countries in 18 languages and spanned across television, digital video, mobile, print, social media, out of home, cinema, and special events. The campaign centered around TV spots directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Jean-Pierre Jeunet and, in an industry first, the campaign debuted as an insulated commercial pod during the 91st Oscars. Shot on location in 5 different countries spanning the globe, Jeunet enlisted his long-time partner and academy award winning cinematographer, Janusz Kaminski to bring these magical vignettes to life.
